Rising streak stop?

In the opening, Nikkei started lower level ,reflecting NY Dow's down.But downward momentum is very limitted and very small narrow range of price fluctuation through today. Although foreign exchange rate of Japanese Yen is a little bit appreciated but stock market rose, it implicates the energy to rise is waiting for its turn?
