Opened Higher but stagnant with narrow range in the morning trading hour

Opened higher reflecting US market's rise and weaker Yen, but there is no movement with very,very narrow range between 17980-17960yen.In the afternoon trading hour, the range a little bit rose, and came back to 18,000level again. But Nikkei 225 Futures' trading volume of today is not so big. Most people feel a gap between current price level and actual atmosphere of economics in Japan.
